DESCRIPTION:Buy Ticket\n\n\n\nActing for Camera\nThe Creative Collective Presents: “Acting For Camera – Junior Workshop” Led by Casting Director and Acting Coach Annie Murtagh-Monks.\n \nThis 3 hour fun workshop is for students aged 12-16 yrs in Karratha and will be run on Friday April 9 from 5-8pm.\nThis workshop will give students a taste of working in front of the camera\, using examples from popular films and practical exercises you can discover your “inner film star”. Participants will be taught by experienced acting coach & casting director Annie Murtagh-Monks (The Heights 1&2; Drift; The Circuit: Rabbit Proof Fence).\n \nPlaces are strictly limited..Book your ticket now!\n \nTutor Annie Murtagh-Monks (www.anniemmcasting.com) has been a casting director and acting coach for more than 25 years.\nAnnie has cast numerous television and film productions in WA. Annie has also and been acting coach on more than 13 of these productions.\nShe has recently been casting director and acting coach on ABC TV’s TV series “The Heights”. In addition\, Annie’s has lectured screen acting at WAAPA since 1996.\n \nAnnie has ‘discovered’ many successful actors and helped cast them in their first adult screen role including Heath Ledger\, Isla Fisher\, Jai Courtney and Emma Booth.
